I really don't get it.. Some ppl tend to make fun of those who are TTC-ing.. They think that TTC is FUN and HAPPY journey..
TTC is indeed a painful journey.. No kidding babe! It's hard when we have to sacrifice lots of things.. Money, time, career, family,...what else? How would a person make fun out of it?
Do we feel happy? HELL NO
Do we deserve to be sad? YES
Do we endure pain and sufferings? YES
I guess, ppl who never really been "into" the journey, please dont say anything.. You have no idea what the rest of TTCians been through.. Shots after shots, appointments after appointments, medicines after medicines.. Do you think those are FUN and ENJOYABLE to go through?

ReplyDeletethis is my advise, i hardly talk to normal people about our ttc, not even to close one's. you know y? coz only people who struggle through infertility will understand and others wont. that's y they make fun of us. Actually talking to them doesn't help. it just makes us feel bad.
when people talk or suggest about starting up family, i jus tell them that we are still not ready.
so best is to blog, blogging has opened up many friends who are on the same boat. and it has really helped me to recover and be hopeful again after my 2nd failed ivf.
btw have u decided on Dr yet?

Yup,I'm agree with wannabe mom. Sometimes the best way to talk about TTC is to blog about it. Eventho it's thru writings, we still manage to express our feeling.
ReplyDeleteIts sad how people think TTC is nothing and they make fun of it. That's why i rarely talked about TTC things with those who never be in the same shoes as mine. Not to my bestfriend pon! Why? Because she's blessed with her pregnancy right after her marriage. And I'm sure she will never understand my feeling.
