its been a while since my last entry. If it's not too late for me to wish all of you a happy new year.. may this year will be our year to become a mummy.. ameen.. :)
Well, as for me, ive started my 3rd cycle of IVF in Sunfert since early this month.. Alhamdulillah, everything goes as planned, in fact, i was a day earlier from the last entry' s schedule.
About the shots, since this is only short protocol, ive started with Gonal-F, then with Cetrotide (which is new to me, never had this in my previous cycles) and also tht famous Ovidrel.. And the rests of the procedures were not new to me, except that i still have that nervous-ness every time the procedures came on..
Ive undergone the OPU stage on 17/1/12 and the difference between the previous OPU wif this one was i was totally awake this time around. I could feel the pain during the egg retrieval.. i felt like screaming but my mouth kept on saying prayers to Allah.. and, i survived!!! 15 eggs were retrieved..
Then, the ET was done on 20/1/12 - yes it was 3 day transfer procedure.. I was told that out of the 15 eggs, only 9 fertilised, 2 grade 1 embies, 4 grade 2 embies, and the rests are poor grades and cant be used during ET.. And. as predicted, Dr Wong has transferred 3 embies and we froze another 3..
Oh, my DH manged to stay with me until OPU only.. he had to go back to work a day after OPU.. sad huh? ;(
well, now im in the middle of my precious 2ww and alread on my 8dp3dt...half way to go... wuuhuu!
